Megan laughed at Chase's comment. "Yea she is. You're very smooth also, Chelsea. Do you ride often? You look as if you've been riding everyday since you were born!!" she shouted, again. She looked at Chase. "Sorry .. again. Why don't I go stand in the middle of the ring" she said, laughing as she made her way past jumps to get to the middle of the ring.

Chase nodded and waved her off as he climbed up into the bleachers to watch. Chelsea continued to post. "Mom says New York is no place to have a horse, so i have to settle with riding in Central Park carriges, adn when my 4H goes to shows. I do ride at a stables once a week though!" she said energetcially as she corrected herself by keeping her heels down.

Megan nodded. "Yea. New York is a hard place for a horse to be. Thats good that you get to show, though. Alright, why don't you slow Priss to a walk, then pick up your right lead canter, okay?" Megan instructed.

Chelsea gave another nod, and slowed the pony down gently. After walking halfway around the arena she looked at Megan. "Now?" she asked.

Chelsea squeezed and smooched to Prissy as she picked up a wonderful canter. Chels sat deep in the saddle, keeping a good seat. as she steered the little mare around the ring.

Chelsea's eyes widened and did as she was told. Getting a good two point but rising a bit early. Prissy also landed on the wrong lead and Chels had to slow her down and pick it up again. she blushed. "sorry" she said.

Megan was an EQ rider, so she always expected perfection from both horse and rider. "Thats alright. Just do it again. This time, keep your shoulders back until Prissy is actually going over the fence, then go into your 2-point. And to get her to land on the correct lead, keep pressure on her side with your left leg all the way up to and over the jump. Go ahead" she said, standing back and waiting for Chels to take the fence again.

Chels nodded replaying the instructions in her head. She repeated the fence this time doing as she was told perfecting it. Seh landed with a huge smile adn gave a good pat to Prissy. "Good girl" she said.

Megan laughed. She walked over to the cross rail and set up a little 2.3' vertical. "You comfortable doing this?" she asked Chels.
