Maddi had tacked up for cross-country with Beans. She had decked out her horse in her cross-country colors, light blue and white.
She led her horse out of the barn, and mounted him. She walked around on the grass for a couple minutes, making sure that he was all warmed up. She slowly trotted Beans up to the starting line of the imtermediate cross-country course, and started her self.
3. . .. . 2. . .. . . 1. . . .GO!!!!! She yelled, mainly for Beans.
The first jump came up. A little coop, a skinny almost.
\
Maddi lined Beans up for it, and nudged him a bit. He easily jumped the little coop, and galloped on.
Up next, came a little oxer.
Beans ears pricked forward, as he saw the little jump. Maddi didn’t have to do anything to help him, but she did anyway. He jumped it with ease, and ran off.
The little house was next. There was a small and big one, attached. Maddi pointed Beans towards the bigger one.
Beans slowed down a bit, but Maddi supported him, and he flew. Galloping on. . .
The water jump was next. Maddi was nervous and excited at the same time.
Maddi led her horse towards the jump, and waited for the jump. She squeezed him on with her legs. Beans looked at it, then Maddi tapped him with her crop, and Beans jumped the fence with ease. Maddi sat back immediately, and once Bugs landed, she sat back up again. As he galloped away, she stroked his neck.
Next up, were the hay bales and logs.
Maddi and Beans did the same as they did on every jump, they flew. Beans gave a little buck as he galloped, but Maddi ignored him. She was focused in the next jump.
Up came another water jump. This time, you had the option of which part of it to jump. ..
Of course, Maddi was prepared for anything. She chose the bigger option to jump, since Beans needed to show her how well he could do. But, the way that this jump was supposed to be jumped, (For the option that she chose.) was to go through the water, then jump the log. Like always, Beans and Maddi cleared it with ease.
After the second water, were the corners.
There where three of the corners, facing opposite directions each one was, and they were broad and tricky!!! She lined up her horse for the first corner, and kicked him. Maddi put her hands all the way forward, and Beans cleared it. The same thing happened for the next corner. The third corner was a little bit longer, and more at and angle, so Maddi slowed Beans’s pace a little, for a controlled canter. Maddi squeezed Beans’s sides, and he plummeted off the ground, perfectly. He cleared the corners, and galloped on, awaiting the next jump to come along.
OOC: Will finish later!!
