Become Apart of the Magic
I. The Age of Creation
In the beginning, there was nothing. No light, no air, not even a speck of dust, only a void. For millennia nothing existed, the passing of time was not noted for there was no sun to rise each morning and set each night. Only a great emptiness. That was when Aeryn came. The greater god filled the universe with sound, a came to a stop in the very center, a massive creature, that resembled a horse, though his coat was black as the night sky and his tail was a many-thonged whip. The creature stood, and became dissatisfied with all the darkness. For, after years of solitude, Aeryn had become lonely. He set to work, and in three days he had created the Light Elemental, Ina. The void was slowly but surely filled with light, golden and pure, but still the god was unsatisfied. Within another three days, he brought Koli, the elemental of Darkness into being, for with the light there are also shadows. In quick succession, Aeryn formed four other spirits. Moana, of Water, calm and benevolent, but quick to anger; Tu, of Earth, quiet, protective, and kindest of her siblings; Aeolus, of Wind, nimble, intelligent and mischievous; Chama, of Fire, eternally within a rage that no one but Moana could quench; and Dusa of Spirits, melancholy and quite, the shyest of all seven.
II. The Age of Blood and Shadows
These seven spirits, along with their father, created Eatheros, each applying their own elements in harmony to create a paradise. For centuries these spirits lived in peace, even after Aeryn returned to his own home far, far away. But eventually the elementals grew bored with their idyllic life. Ina, wisest of the seven, decided to create a breed of creatures that would tread Eatheros, and worship her as a god. So she created the Lucians. Koli grew jealous of his sister's creations, and formed his own race, the Morrians. Soon after the other five followed suit, creating Aerians and Tahluhians, Pyrian, Dimians and Hanians. To each were granted a special power, the ability to use the elements of their creators and shape the world around them. Almost immediately the seven races took to arms, unable to cooperate, their powers conflicting. The first Pyrian King, Ethon, allied with Nereza, the Morrian Queen, though the truly loathed each other, to beat back the other five nations. It was a long and bloody war, but in the end they succeeded, reigning over Eatheros with an iron hoof.
III. The Age of Rebellion
Over the years, the small, beaten herds of the Lucians, Dimians, Tahluhians, Hanians and Aerians began to grow in numbers and discontent. Though they feared their overlords, the began to grow angry, and united to form the Rebel Herd. Though the elements often fought among themselves, they followed a single banner, and marched off to war again King Ethon and Queen Nereza. The pair fled their posts, leaving behind their tribes as they deserted. The Morrians and Pyrians were overrun, and the lands restored equally to all the tribes. Despite the greatest search efforts, Ethon and Nereza were never found. Legend has it, that the evil pair had mated, though they hated each other, and a child of both Darkness and Fire roamed the world, but it has never been proved.
IV. The Age of Peace
Tranquility reigns on Eatheros. No wars have broken out, no battles fought save for those of mates and positions, but many questions remain. Who will rule these seven races? Will this tenacious peace hold? Or will Eatheros once again spiral into shadows and flames?
