Jason loved to train horses and he had a 'gift' for it. He led a new compleatly unbroke horse into the round pen after spending a good hour getting on its halter. He let the mighty dappled gray stallion loose into the pen, shuttin the door behind him. He turned around to see the stallion buck and rear its protest of being captured. Jason just looked down and hunched his shoulders forward walking into the middle of the ring. The stallion eyed him warily and snorted angrily. Jason looked up from his submissive stance and spread his feet apart, looking the 17 hand stallion in the eye and puffing out his chest a bit. The stallion immediatly lifted up his head and trotted around the ring. Jason jogged after him for a moment until he went into a canter. The stallion cantered 2 rounds and tried to stop when Jason took a step forward again and the stallion took off. This went on for about 6 more rounds when Jason cut infront of the stallion. The dappled horse shot up its head and spun on his heels taking off the other way. After about 8 more laps the mighty stallion lowered his head about an inch. Jason smirked but stared at the stallion nonetheless.

Gabby was amazed when she took in the sight. She walked over to the arena and leaned against it. She watched silently.

Jason was a complete goofball at times but when it really came down to it he could be serious. He didn't tear his eyes away from the stallion's not once. He watched every movement but stayed in the middle of the ring. Finally after 3 more laps the beautiful stallion lowered his head to the ground and blew out air threw his nostrils. Jason wasn't giving up that easily. He made the now very tired and sweat covered horse keep cantering. The stallion was bluffing and threw up his head when Jason took a step toward him. Jason could read him like a book and wasn't stupid. He stepped infront of the horse once more to make him change directions. The stallion once again shot his head up and his eyes rolled but he turned the other way in the end. Jason watched him, his gait becoming less jagged, his muscles less tence and his ears were moving around a bit more. Even though these were good signs Jason took a step toward him to make him pick up the pace. He obeyed and after 3 more laps the lowered his head and started chewing the air. Jason knew this was it. He took one last glance at the horse and turned the opposite way with his head down and feet together. He hunched his shoulders forward and waited about a minute until he heard steady footfalls behind him. He smiled to himself as the huge masculine stallion slid his head over Jason's shoulder and blew softly threw his nose.

Gabby smiled. She'd seen join up before but his was captivating...everything was perfect. She watched quietly.
